changed some stuff. mainly how lyrics and stories about songs are handled.

new original song released, check it out. also, i noticed that the year of my last update was 2007 when it was obviously supposed to be 2008... oops! (it's corrected now)

so... it's been a while. truthfully, i've just been lazy with updates. after my last update i've finished recording and mixing my band's album, released 3 songs of my own (just not here) and stuff like that. the three songs that i've released are now also available here. they all happen to be video game arrangements, so head to that page if you wish to check them out. i've also done some behind-the-scenes stuff to the site, but you needn't worry about that.

i'm not dead, i swear! just thought i should let (both of) you know that at the moment i'm busy recording stuff with my band (and have been since the last days of august), so it's very likely that i won't be doing any ansgaros material for the rest of the year.

last night i felt like doing something, so i did an orchestral cover of The phantom forest from the game Final Fantasy 6.

my entry for last month's DoD, an atmospheric rock arrangement of the song Death volcano from Chrono Cross, is up.

got rid of "works in progress". it was utterly useless and i don't know why i ever put it up in the first place. in any case, it's now gone for good.

two new video game arrangements that i've been sitting on for a while have now been released. a rocking metal rendition of Corneria from Star fox (SNES), and an orchestral version of Snake Man's theme from Mega Man 3. grab 'em now!

yet another video game arrangement (though it's more of a straightforward cover this time). it's a song from the game Dragon saber. i also added a new theme, a light green one i'm imaginatively calling "forest".

new video game arrangement released! it's a power metal version of Cradel of Forest from Silent Hill 4. toying around with stuff, i also added a theme (ie. alternative color/stuff scheme) to the site. i hope to add some more later. check out the "themes" link on top of the navigation menu.

decided to release an original piano solo song i've been sitting on for about two months.

another original, "Relinquished illusions". it's a soundtrack style song.

i made a cover of Seven silver keys by Candlemass, because i didn't have anything better to do for these past two days... go grab it now!
