music
so, every once in a while i make music. it might be original compositions or it might be covers or arrangements of video game songs. my "usual style" is metal, but i do occasionally compose some electronic music as well. nowadays i don't compose as much as i used to, and most of the metal i compose either goes to my band(external link) or gets scrapped. most of the "non-metal" material i do, however, never gets finished.
in early 2006, i cleaned every section so that they only contain "stuff that i approve of". the originals, vg arrangements and covers section include mp3s only, any new release i will make in future will be in mp3 format (or similar, excluding chiptunes, ohc). the rest i've chucked away into the treasury.
to extract some files you will need an archiver that can handle rar(external link) archives. i use WinRAR(external link) myself.
if you are a copyright holder of one or more of the cover/vg arrangement songs i have on this site and you would like me to remove one or more songs, just let me know. i'm not making any money with this (and the hosting actually costs me money) so rather than getting sued i will peacefully comply. also, the arrangements and covers i do are my tributes to the original artists and songs, i'm not trying to mock anyone or anything. thank you.

originals
the originals section obviously contains original music, composed by yours truly. will eventually have all kinds of stuff that i happen to write.
video game arrangements
in this section you will find... yes, arrangements of video game songs! well, i might do a straightforward cover or two in the future like i have done in the past and despite the "arrangement" part in the section title, this is where they will end up.
covers
covers of various songs (by other bands/artists bands) that i like or liked enough to cover. only straightforward covers this far, but i might do an arrangement of some kind one day.
videos
sometimes i will record a video of me playing one of my songs on guitar. it's not often though. nowadays (as 2009/02) i do have a "proper" (but poor quality) video camera, so i might do another video any year now...
chiptunes
i will maybe put out a new chiptune every once in a while. possibly. in that unlikely event, however, this is where they will appear. they will not necessarily be strict chiptunes, but at least something resembling them. this is a directory listing sorted by date, so that newest files appear on top.
ohc
stands for one-hour compo. directory listing sorted by date (newest on top). module and midi files here. not too great in numbers, and it'll probably stay that way. i'll add stuff as i make it, which is not often. it is also possible that i will never add any more songs. who knows.
treasury
the treasury link in the menu will take you to an alphabetically sorted directory listing. of the ones i've ever released, this directory contains those songs that didn't qualify to be in the other music sections anymore (ie which i deemed unworthy). contains originals, covers and vg arrangements alike. these songs are mostly in a module format: xm, it or mo3. to play back these files you need XMplay(external link) (required for mo3 files). some songs might not play back 100% correctly on XMplay though, in which case you need ModPlug Player or ModPlug Tracker, available here(external link). i prefer ModPlug software. please do not use the module plugin that comes with Winamp to play back module files.
these old songs are not necessarily all bad, but some of these are really crappy and should never be listened to by anyone ever. oh, and if you know i've done a song and it's not here, let me know and i'll dig it up. collaborations where i only did vocals don't count.
