yes. i hadn't updated my myspace in a few years at all so i decided to just be rid of it altogether. the time of myspace is behind us. all hail facebook!

in other news, i was going to re-learn to play and make a guitar video for the song Prepare for Death from Castlevania: Bloodlines (as per poll on facebook :) ) about two weeks ago but then i burned my hand(external link) and had to postpone said video. well, now my hand is healing nicely and you can be expecting this video to hit youtubes in say... a month or so! could be next week, could be the week after. probably not this week anyway. so be on the lookout for that! also subscribe to my new channel to make it easier. link in the top menu.

been pretty damn lazy with them updates around here (but also partly busy with life stuff)... so now you get one original song [Realm of pain] that i made almost a year ago and a cover [Musta aurinko nousee] that i made a few weeks ago.

yeah, it's my entry for PUNCHFEST 11 that was held on saturday july 31st 2010. an arrangement of "At Zanarkand" from Final Fantasy X. spent 3.5 hours on it, plus what time i spent learning the song beforehand. in that respect i guess it turned out ok.

yes, you read that correctly! i have just released two new songs! both of them happen to be video game arrangements. Fire And Stuff from the game Lords of Thunder, and Fortress of Doom from Lufia & the Fortress of Doom. there's also two new videos, one for Fire And Stuff and another that i did in february and forgot to add here, in which i play the song Ice Hole.

yes. what it says on the tin. or in the title. someone wanted separate tracks to make a Rock Band song out of this, and i didn't feel comfortable giving them the old mix. so i made a new one. nothing was re-recorded, although i was tempted to re-record the guitars and vocals. enjoy the new version nonetheless.

i decided it was time for me to make a new video. so here's Corneria. check it out on the videos page under music, or on my YouTube channel.

yeah. chiptune. oh well. i have made two vg arrangements too since the last update but i haven't uploaded them yet for the same reason i sat on my "Kefka gets decisive" for half a year... reworking. we'll see if that ever happens. in the meanwhile though, enjoy "Northern shores".

yes, it's a new chiptune. maybe i should start putting these in the originals category... or not, who knows. anyway, the song is called "Enchanted stroll", it's another NSF and with this one i tried to somewhat replicate that fat "Sunsoft sound" you hear in NES games such as Gremlins 2 and Journey to Silius. the bass samples are ripped from Gremlins 2, in fact. enjoy.

i revised the videos page to include embedded YouTube videos. also, instead of the one video there used to be there, there's now two!

the site has gone through another complete overhaul. and this is how it's going to look and function for another few years. so better get used to it.

i opted to start using a CMS (Content Management System) instead of what i used before. so here we are. some content was modified or rewritten from scratch, but the music is still there (and that's what you're here for anyway).

oh, i also have an RSS feed now so check that if you're into that kind of thing. this site gets updated maybe a few times a year on average, so. yeah. check that.

first update and two new vg arrangements! check them out for some sock-rocking.

hmmmmm. i made a chiptune. again. i promise, i'll stop now. it's an NSF called "A fevered state". because i'm having a bit of a flu or something and my temperature's elevated. clever, eh?....... yeah. didn't think so.

another new chiptune... it's a real NSF this time. and an arrangement, too. i think this must be my first chiptune arrangement ever. it's the song Unkai from the game Axelay. grab at it in the chiptunes section. famitracker source available!
